Getting ready for shows

Here's a little glimpse of what happens 'behind the scenes' in getting ready for performances.

It takes a lot of colored pencils to color so many flowers - Isabel busy sharpening pencils.

We had a very nice performance at Waverly Gardens Retirement community this past Saturday May 8th. We were very excited to have the opportunity to come back and perform again  after doing a show here on our St. Patrick's Day tour with our dance school.

It was a brisk Saturday morning with some sleet!

We were up to North Oaks by 9:00 and set up our floor and warmed up for our show.

We were especially pleased that Uncle Reed and Auntie Barbara were able to come to the show!

Sorry I didn't get any pictures from this show. The audience was very appreciative. Waverly Gardens has a beautiful performance facility with stage lighting and professional sound. We really enjoyed performing there!

We had a nice performance for the folks at Eagle Crest in Roseville today - this was the same facility Grandma Sylvia was at - I'm glad we were able to go back and perform for them. Some of the kids from daycare at Northwestern College right next door were able to come over and see part of the show too!
